Since March 2008 I have been so lucky to be able work with Jocelyn Sparks, Owner of Zoe Custom Cosmetics. She has been keeping me so busy this past year that I can no longer run my own business. Trying to run your own business and be a stay at home Mom can become challenging at times. Hopefully in the next couple of months we are going to put together a Blog for Zoe Costum Cosmetics letting you know what's been going on and where Zoe Costum Cosmetics is going.

Suzanne is already a beautiful girl with or without makeup. Which is why this is a great example of how Airbrush Foundation can smooth your skin making it flawless without the heavy look or feel of a foundation. I also used a neutral palette that compliments her skin tone and short individual lashes so they look as natural as possible.

Don't you love Spring?

I am still torn between which I love more - Spring or Fall. One thing is for sure - I love getting to experience seasons! Spring is almost over and I haven't even posted what I've been up to this season. It seems that my blog is growing cobwebs so I really need to get everyone up to date on what I've been doing these past couple months.

Cincy Chic- March Issue

Bridal Makeup Trials Contin'd.....

Here are two more of the Brides I did makeup on at The Metropolitan Club in January 08.

Leah wanted her makeup to have a clean and fresh look. We did a warm golden glow of "South Beach" (by NARS) on her cheeks with a pop of a soft cool pink on the apples of her cheeks. This really accentuated her high cheekbones. We did cognac smoked into her lash line to bring out her eye color, and a cool neutral pink on her lips.

Aubrie Hensler wanted a classic look while playing up her eyes and mouth. We warmed her face and decollate up with "Matte Bronze" (by Laura Mercier) then did a warm hazelnut color on her cheeks. We used neutral colors on her eyes with caramel chocolaty hues close to her lash line and corner to make the eyes pop. Lastly we finished by doing a classic red lip with traces of amaretto and gold.

January Bridal Makeup Trials

Hi Everyone,

The Bridal Makeup Trials Event we had at the Metropolitan Club on the 24th and 25th were so much fun thanks to all the Brides that attended. We are going to do these again in the future please let me know if you're interested in attending. We had a spectacular view of the city and a warm cozy ambiance. It was a great escape from the cold weather we got that week.

These 3 girls were kind enough to let me post there "Before" and "After" pictures.

Melissa Perkins wanted a classic look with a bright lid, liquid lined with ebony liner, and a bright raspberry lip. She carried this look so well. Melissa Perkins makeup was fun to do because she had these big beautiful eyes and great lashes enhanced by Laura Mercier Thickening and Building Mascara. By the way those are her real lashes!

Amber Porter's goal was a dramatic look for her eyes. Due to the dramatic eyes we played the lips down with a soft neutral pink. I loved how her eyes took to the makeup and enhanced them to deep shade of green. Her cheeks were a nice warm glow of chestnut. She also has beautiful skin so when you added the makeup she just luminated.

Laura Mason wanted more of a fresh faced look that you’d see in the Spring. She had very beautiful smooth skin. So I accentuated both her eyes and mouth soft enough so they would not overpower one another. I also accented her cheek with a cool raison plum glow. Love the smile!

I recently moved back to Cincinnati with my family, and I'm very excited to be back here working in this great city! I will be available for bridal house calls, and any other make-up for special events, fundraisers, parties, etc.
